 Welcome to the website for Lost Bear Gallery.

The Blue Mountains has long been a renowned centre of artistic activity, which Lost Bear Gallery is proud to enhance with its representation of contemporary artists. With an exciting collection of paintings, sculpture, ceramics and hand blown glass from a diverse mix of artists, all of whom are established, but at different stages of their respective careers, Lost Bear Gallery is a leading destination for art in the Blue Mountains.

The business comprises of two spaces. Lost Bear's main gallery (previously known as Katoomba Fine Art) was established in 2001 and displays original artworks and feature exhibtions. Lost Bear's Gallery Shop at Leura, opening in December 2012, will stock a range of fine art prints, cards and small sculptures, ceramics and glass works, from a selection of artists.

ART THEFT UPDATE

On 27th December 2008, 2 James Willebrant paintings were stolen from Katoomba Fine Art by a Sydney based lawyer.

Thursday 16th of August, Judge Jennifer English handed down her decision at Penrith District Court.

Coverage of the legal proceedings, together with interviews and the CCTV footage that captured the theft of the paintings, was aired on the Seven Network on the 16th August as well as ABC News on the 17th August, 2012.
